| I've been using ixwebhosting for over a year now, and so far I'm quite satisfied with the service.
Pros: Customer service is pretty fast in responding to my inquiries; Web server is very stable, I have yet to see it go down once; Control panel is easy to use, though I can not compare it with others. Cons: Sql server sometimes overloads, causing all interactive(forums and alike) pages to fail; Speed is far from great, I can usually only manage to get about 15k/s download from my site and 5k/s upload through ftp; No shell access. |

| I've been using IX Web Hosting for close to 2 years now and overall I'm happy with it, but on occassion the server has gone down.
Also, while I believe the price is pretty fair, you're not getting some things which you may want. The biggest thing to me is CPanel. They don't have it and that's annoying. Their customer service is always a pleasure, but getting them on the phone in the first place can at times be quite the challenge. I've waited on hold for over an hour at times. Don't call during prime business hours or you'll likely wait too. ...unless your calling new sales. Plus, they've made some errors with me and in one case deleted a bunch of my files. |
